Job Description: 

Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Inventory Analyst will be overseeing and managing the receiving process of raw product and ensuring that inventory levels are accurate within the coolers.

This position will also have tasks related to certain packaging inventories (mainly CHEP and IFCO reporting). This role involves monitoring inventory levels, implementing efficient inventory management systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

The Inventory Analyst collaborates with various departments, such as procurement, logistics, and finance, to maintain an effective supply chain and meet the organization’s operational needs.

This role requires periodic travel to Arizona from October through April.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  1. Inventory Control:
    1. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
      1. Daily raw product receiving and inventory balances within the coolers
      2. Annual CHEP and IFCO
    2. Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures with both internal receiving staff as well as third party cooler staff
  2. System Implementation:
    1. Implement and maintain an efficient inventory management system.
    2. Utilize technology to automate processes and enhance accuracy in tracking inventory levels.
  3. Collaboration:
    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, sales, and accounting, to optimize inventory-related processes.
    2. Communicate effectively with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and address issues properly.
  4. Risk Management:
    1. Identify potential disks related to inventory, such as obsolescence or excess stock, and develop mitigation plans.
    2. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to proactively address challenges.
  5. Training and Development:
    1. Train and develop the inventory team to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
    2. Stay updated on advancements in inventory management practices and technology.

Assist in additional projects as may be required.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual/Bi-literate English/Spanish required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least one year of experience in the industry or in a comparable position related to inventory management.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate well with all levels of management and employees.
  • Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Famous Software experience preferred but not required.
