It is important to thoroughly rinse the leaves. Pat dry excess moisture with a paper towel before using or storing. Mini romaine can be torn or chopped into desired size for salads, sandwiches and burgers, or lettuce cups.
Dark green on the outside, light green on the inside, this is a cupping variety that is easily prepared due to its uniformity and consistent leaf shape.
Care & Handling
Choose lettuce with healthy outer leaves. Avoid leaves that are limp, damaged, have holes or are discolored. Store lettuce in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator crisper. Always wash fresh produce before consuming.
