Rachel was born in Salinas and grew up in Soledad, CA. She began her career as an accounts payable clerk for a grower and moved her way up to payroll supervisor. Joining Ippolito Intl., in 2008 she now manages a department of six employees who issue over 500 payroll checks a week for harvesting crews. Her day includes everything from overseeing benefits and compensation, accounts payable to license renewals and the handling of various insurance policies. She also oversees DOT compliance for the trucking division. Rachel likes the variety and hectic pace of her job, with every day being different. Married with three grown children and one grandson, Rachel enjoys reading and running. She is a “late blooming” runner, starting a couple of years ago and now enjoys training for 5K and ½ marathon events.
