Receptionist

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for all visitors and callers. This is a full-time year-round position.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services, products, and policies.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
  • Perform various clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and faxing.
  • Maintain Office Inventory.
  • Miscellaneous filing.
  • Assist with office management duties as needed.
  • Act as a personal assistant to senior staff members when required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate well with all levels of management and employees.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Famous Software experience preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in computerized systems including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Accounting Clerk

Job Description: 

The accounting clerk will be responsible for performing various accounting and clerical tasks to support the finance department. This includes but is not limited to maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and maintaining grower information and planting schedules.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Accounts receivable:
    • Daily invoicing
    • Adjustments
    • Scanning and filing any relevant support including cash receipts
  • Planting schedule maintenance:
    • Maintain organized planting and grower records
    • Maintain planting schedule for all regions and growers
    • Set-up block IDs in Famous and monitor changes as needed
    • Organize and file spray records
    • Scanning and filing any other relevant support
  • Assist with other projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
